Ashanti Douglas, popularly called Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York United States on 13th October 1980. She is a singer and actress of her native United States. Ashanti was famous when she was when she was a teen. The year 2002 was when she signed with Murder Inc. Records. Ashanti made an appearance on Fat Joe's What's Luv? She also appeared in Fat Joe's track"What's Luv!" and the Ja Rules' track Never On Time, both of which became huge hit songs. It was the first time for a female artist to hold the first and second spots within the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at number one and What's Luv? The song What's Luv! She starred in the film Christmas in the City and was Latasha the character Montclair from Army Wives. The song she sang Rock wit U was sampled by British singer Aitch for his song Baby on the 10th of March 2022.
